In both 2000 and 2001, Brian received the Ruth C. Boyd Cook Award for Painting Excellence. He graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Two Dimensional Studio Art focusing on Painting and Drawing.
Since then, Brian has worked as a professional sand sculptor for The Sand Sculpture Company based in Woodstock, Illinois. As a sculptor, his work has received international acclaim and has taken him throughout the continental U.S., Canada, Europe, Taiwan, Qatar, Japan and Hong Kong. In 2001, he received an award for his sculpting at the North American Sand Sculpting Championship in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2003, he was a member of "Team Totally in Sand", which took second place and the Marc Altamare People's Choice Award at the World Championships of Sand Sculpture in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada. Brian continues to sculpt sand across the world several weeks out of the year at large events, malls, and competitions.
In addition to his artistic expertise, Brian spent six years gaining valuable skills in the profession of residential interior painting, working as a jobsite supervisor for a professional interior painting company.
Brian recognized the need for a company with the versatility of Walls With Imagination which unites the craft of a master interior painter with a trained professional fine artist and designer. The combination of these elements is what defines Walls With Imagination and sets us apart from all other painting companies.
